Evidence of Effectiveness

Results from a quasi-experimental evaluation (unpublished report written in 2018) supported the effectiveness of Mosaic for middle school students. This evaluation included 749 grade 6 through 8 students (80% white; 3% eligible for free or reduced-price lunch (FRPL)). This evaluation found that students who participated in the program demonstrated a significant increase in self-reported growth mindset, self-efficacy, and sense of belonging compared to students in the comparison group (outcomes reported 19 weeks after baseline).
