This evaluation included 185 prekindergarten through grade 2 students in a suburban school district in the U.S. Midwest region (65% white, 18% Black/African American; 57% of student body eligible for free or reduced-price lunch (FRPL) at participating schools). This evaluation found that students receiving instruction using Mindful Practices & Class Catalyst showed significantly greater growth in teacher-report school engagement and positive social behaviors compared to students in the control group (outcomes reported approximately 16 weeks after baseline, while controlling for outcome pre-test).
